This policy describes how information is collected, used and shared by the website at loontrace.com and the applications published on its subdomains. In this policy, “Loontrace”, “we” and “us” refer to the individual who operates them as a personal, non-commercial project. The website and applications are operated from the United States and are intended for people there; they are not offered to people in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

1. Information we collect

• Account information, such as your email address, when you sign in to an application. If you sign in with a Google account, we receive only your email address, whether Google has verified it, and an identifier for your account.
• Content you provide, such as the records you enter and the files you upload to an application.
• Location, only when an application asks for it and you allow your browser to share it.
• Technical information, such as network addresses and browser details, collected by our hosting provider and security services to operate and protect the service.

We do not collect passwords. The website itself collects no personal information.

2. How we use information

We use information only to operate the applications: to sign you in, to control who can see and change information, to store and display the content you provide, and to protect the service against misuse. We do not sell information or use it for advertising or profiling.

3. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that host, store, secure and deliver the service on our behalf, and only as needed for that purpose; and where required by law. These include hosting and security providers, sign-in providers, and AI service providers used to help build applications, which receive an application's design but not the information stored in it. Some features load content from other services, such as maps, which receive ordinary request details from your browser.

Information from your Google account is used only to sign you in and is not shared, sold or used for any other purpose. We do not request access to your Google account or its contents. Google handles the sign-in under its own privacy policy.

Public forms and sign-in requests are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives limited technical information to tell people from automated scripts, as described in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

4. Cookies

The applications use cookies only to keep you signed in. They may also store settings and unsaved work in your browser on your device. We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising, and the website sets no cookies. Because we do not track you across websites, we do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals.

5. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Sign-in sessions expire after a period of inactivity, security records are kept for a limited period, and content is kept until it is deleted by the application's owner or at your request.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and limits on access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@loontrace.com. We respond promptly, normally within 30 days. You can sign out of an application at any time.

8. Children

The applications are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and it will be deleted.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
